Modern Slavery Act 2015: Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

Cambridge Street Dental Practice is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or business. We have developed a system for supply chain verification whereby we evaluate potential suppliers before they enter the supply chain and review existing supply chain suppliers.

This statement sets out our actions to understand the potential modern slavery risks related to our business and to put in place steps to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

We operate the following policies which support our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking:

Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Reflecting our commitment to acting ethically in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy

Cambridge Street Dental Practice makes it clear to employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing the company. We strive to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behaviour.

Whistleblowing Policy

We encourage concerns related to our activities and the supply chains of our practice to be reported. Our whistle-blowing procedure is designed to make it easy for workers to make disclosures.

Process for Slavery and Human Trafficking

We have in place processes to:

• Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
• Protect whistle-blowers.
• Training – As well as training staff, the practice will raise awareness of modern slavery issues and in particular:
• Principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
• How to identify and report slavery and human trafficking
