Wrinkle correction treatment involves using the power of hyaluronic acid to reduce signs of ageing.

Here at Cambridge St Dental & Implant Centre, we use Restalyne®, a market leader in non-surgical facial aesthetics.

How does Restalyne® work to reduce signs of ageing?

Restalyne® has a global reputation and is used to add volume to targeted areas of the face and reduce signs of deep wrinkles and lines. It is made up of hyaluronic acid, a substance found in our skin. As we age, our body’s supply of hyaluronic acid reduces, and the onset of ageing begins – this is normally around the age of 30 although this also depends on lifestyle factors.

What will the treatment involve?

Wrinkle correction treatment is administered with a tiny needle, so discomfort is very minimal. We will ask you what your expectations of treatment are to give you a tailored experience and result. Our approach is to treat the individual and to have a holistic approach to facial aesthetics.

Which areas of the face can be treated using Restalyne®?

Some of the areas that can be treated with Restalyne® include:

  • Lips
  • Tear troughs (dark circles around the eyes)
  • Cheeks
  • Crow’s feet
  • Jawline
  • Neck
  • Frown lines

Is there any recovery time associated with Restalyne®?

You can go back to your normal activities immediately after treatment. You may experience some mild swelling which will subside within a couple of days.

How long do the effects of treatment last?

The effects of Restalyne® will last around 6-9 months, although regular, periodic treatment will prolong the effects as a foundation is created for it to last longer.
